Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and set up your farm? Put in the legwork to “reap what you sow.”
Thankfully, setting up your fields only takes a clicks! No need to drive around your boundaries, just draw out your boundary or import your farm’s details and you’re ready to go.
On iOS
- Select “Fields” in the Left-hand menu.
- Tap “+ New Field”. Choose between “Add single field” or “Import from MyJohnDeere”. In this example, we’ll choose “Add single field”.
- On the map, “Tap to map field boundary”. Use your device’s location to set your location.
- Use two fingers to pinch and zoom to your field.
- When you’re ready, tap “Draw”.
- Draw your boundary by tapping and dropping points on the map.
- Once you’ve set your shape, you can “Save” or “Keep Editing”.
- Keep editing by moving your pin. Then tap “Save” in the top right.
- Your boundary now appears in the preview map. Add your Field Name, Total Area, other details and tap “Save”.
On Web / Android
- Select “Fields” in the Left-hand menu.
- Click “+Field”.
- Find your location by using “+” to zoom in. Click and hold to grab and move the map.
- To start drawing, click on the “polygon” in the top right (above the “🗑 Trashcan”).
- Your boundary now appears in the preview map. Add your Field Name, Total Area, other details and click “✓ Save”.
Congrats, you’ve created your first field!
