Set up your Storage

Put an end to smudgy “white board marker” fingers and use Farm At Hand to keep track of your bins.

Once your fields are set up, you’re ready to set up your storage. This will help you to keep track of everything that’s ready to deliver and what’s left to sell. Use Farm At Hand to keep track of Bins as well as Grainbags.

Here’s how you can create Binyards and Bins.

On iOS

1. Select “Storage” in the Left-hand menu.
2. In this example, we’ll set up a Binyard with Bins. Tap “+ Binyard”.
3. Provide a Name and location. Tap “Done”.
4. Your new Binyard will appear now in the Storage list. Tap the name of the Binyard.
5. Add your Bins. Tap “+ New Item”.
6. Provide the Bin Name and other details. Tap “Done”.

On Web / Android

1. Select “Storage” in the Left-hand menu.
2. You’ll start on the Binyards tab.  Click “+ Binyard”.
3. Provide a Name and location. Click “✓ Save” in the top right.
4. On the Storage list, click on the Binyard.
5. Click “+ Bin” or “+ Create Bin”.
6. Provide the Bin Name and other details. Click “✓ Save” in the top right.

Congrats, you’ve created your first binyard and bin!
