Over the past 8 years, we have offered a free version of our platform to help farmers make managing their day-to-day operations easier. In order for us to continue to provide our user-friendly tools and integrations, we are launching new pricing effective December 9th, 2019.
There will be two pricing tiers to choose from:
Standard ($120 CAD/year) – log your farm information by tracking:

- ● Storage & Transactions
- ● Equipment & Maintenance
- ● Contracts & Marketing
- ● Settings & Integrations
Premium ($500 CAD/year) – includes Farm At Hand Standard, with the addition of:
- ● Crop Planning
- ● Direct Cost & Revenue Tracking
- ● More Settings & Integrations
- ● More tools coming soon…
As a Farm At Hand user, we’d like to thank you for being part of the farmily by giving you a Premium account until March 1st, 2020.

- ● What happens to my information? (A.KA. What happens if I don’t upgrade?)
- ● As an existing user, you still have access to all your farm information with a free Premium account until March 1st, 2020. If you choose not to upgrade your account, you will still be able to access all your farm information, however, you will not be able to add any new records. You can choose the Farm At Hand package that best suits the needs of your farm when the new pricing launches December 9th, 2010. As always, you own your information and are able to export it at any time.
- ● As a Premium user, there will be no changes to your Farm At Hand Premium account. We have some new tools coming up for the next growing season such as an Android version of the app, image and file storage, and exciting integrations with a number of new partners.

- ● When will this change happen?
- ● For users new to Farm At Hand, the new pricing tiers will be available on December 9th, 2019.
- ● For existing free Farm At Hand users, we’re giving you access to a Premium account until March. You are also able to upgrade your account to one of the new pricing tiers starting on December 9th, 2019 to get a jump start on the year. After March 1st, 2020, you’ll need to choose a Farm At Hand package in order to add new records.
- ● Why are you charging me now?/Why haven’t you charged me before?
- ● Farm At Hand has been able to provide free farm management software for over 8 years. We are committed to maintaining a product that is a valuable tool for your farm and expanding it by creating new and better tools to help make farm management easier.
- ● What is the new pricing?
- ● A Premium account stays the same at $500 CAD/year
- ● The new Standard package will be $120 CAD/year
- ● What do I get?/Why is this worth paying for?

- ● What happens to my information?
- ● With Farm At Hand, you own and control your farm data. If you choose to stop using your Farm At Hand account, you can export your records and download them at any time. You will still be able to access all your farm information, however, you will not be able to add any new records.
- ● Is there still a free trial? How does it work?
- ● Yes! We will always support a free evaluation period.
- ● If you signed up for Farm At Hand before December 9th, 2019, then we’re upgrading you to a Premium account until March! After March 1st, 2020, you can choose a Farm At Hand package. However, you are able to upgrade starting on December 9th, 2019 to get a jump start on the year.
- ● What happens after March 1st, 2020?
- ● After March 1st, 2020, the evaluation period for Premium will end. You can upgrade your account to one of the new pricing tiers anytime after December 9th, 2019.
- ● If you choose not to upgrade your account, you will still be able to access all your farm information, however, you will not be able to add any additional records.
- ● What features are coming?
- ● We are excited to announce that we will be offering an Android version of the app, image and file storage, and exciting integrations with a number of new partners for the 2020 growing season. Take a look at this video to learn more.
- ● Do all my users have to pay to access my account level?
- ● No. The pricing packages are reflected at the farm level. For example, if you have a Premium account, any user accessing your farm information has access to the farm’s Premium tools if you give them permission. See how to add a user to your farm here.

- ● We know farmers face challenges with rising costs to produce and market crops. Our commitment is to make sure Farm At Hand is an affordable and valuable part of your farm operation.

- ● The addition of new pricing packages was planned prior to our partnership with TELUS.
- ● Our partnership with TELUS is a natural fit. Our goal is to simplify complicated tools to be user-friendly and match how you plan, work and keep track of what’s happening on your farm. As part of the TELUS family, we’ll be able to take our mission further by making Farm At Hand the hub that links together leading-edge software and IoT devices. We’ll be better able to alert you to key changes, and offer advanced tools and information – a way of keeping track of everything in one central platform.
- ● Does TELUS own my data?
- ● No, One of the things we love about TELUS is their approach to data transparency and privacy. They too believe farmers should own their information and be empowered to choose who they share it with.
- ● What if I have an account through FarmLink?
- ● As a FarmLink customer, you will still be able to access all the Premium tools and won’t see any changes – it’s business as usual!
- ● Will my advisor still have access to my account information?
- ● Yes, you as the user have full control over which of your advisors can access your farm information.
